Looking at currency & foreign exchange in Maths in the senior room
In maths this week in the senior room, We’ve been learning all about foreign exchange & currencies throughout the world. Some children brought in currencies from various countries, including the Bahamas, Irish shillings form 1954, Danish Krona, Philippines Pesos, Hong Kong Dollars (The 2 dollar coin has 11 sides!), The Hungarian forint, Canadian & US dollars, Scottish pounds & some old pre-Euro Irish coins. Thanks to Luca & Kathleen who brought in the currencies for us to see.
