Exploring Seashells at our Local Seashore for Biodiversity Week
26th May 2021
We spent 2 hours at Milk Harbour on Wednesday at low tide exploring the sea shells on our local sea shore. We identified 7 seashells on the seashore, found crabs & came back to class to name & categorise some of the shells. The shells we found at Milk Harbour were: Cockles, Mussels, Razor Shells, Common Periwinkles & Flat Periwinkles, Limpets & The Common Whelk.
