We are learning about Antarctica in the Junior Room at the moment and asked how could the animals there stay warm in the icy sea. Our blubber investigation showed us that cooking fat could protect our fingers from the cold of the icy water just as blubber protects seals and whales in the Antarctic waters.
In the afternoon, we started a new music programme with Gavin from Music Generation. We’re looking forward to him coming to teach music throughout the term.
